In 1615, Pope Paul V, governed the Church, and it was with hisspecial approval that the Recollects set out for their work of In 1915, Pope Benedict XV. presides over the destinies of the Church,and it is with the special Apostolic Blessing of this August Pontiff,that Canada conimemorates to-day the primordials of her Christianity.
