Word has been received of the arrival 'in New York of Adolph Bacigalupi, another of Podesta & Baldoechi's men. He is expected home soon to take up his old duties. Mr. Baldoechi says the firm had a fine Easter trade and has been busy on funeral work, having averaged about a pall a day for some time. B. M. Joseph was married April 21, to Miss Gladys Rule, who was in charge of his office work for several months. The wedding took place at the Clift ho- tel, in this city, and a honeymoon trip by automobile through the southern part of the state is now in progress. A rush of work is reported at the store by Manager Bianchini, whose wife is filling the vacancy caused by Miss Rule's de- parture. Congratulations are in order for C. Kooyman, of the Kooyman Co., Inc., wholesale florists and florists' supply dealers, at 431 Bush street. He was married April 21 to Miss A. A. Hogan, who had been identified with the busi- ness for three years. They slipped away quietly to San Jose and the an- nouncement of their wedding came as a surprise to most of their friends. The name Hogan seems to have a particular fascination for Mr. Kooyman. At one time he was in partnership with a Mr. Hogan in Oakland; he purchased land from another Mr. Hogan, and bought his marriage license from a Mr. Hogan to marry Miss Hogan. K.
