People are seen passing by next to a cruise ship placed very high because of the high water levels. Lower parts of the quay, and around the harbor at the Waalkade in Nijmegen, are underwater. Some farm animals were moved to higher ground. The water level right now is around 11 meters above NAP ( Normaal Amsterdams Peil). NAP is the base used to measure how high or low water levels are.
