The numerous greenhouse men, espe- cially in the southwest and in Ohio and Indiana, who rely on natural gas for fuel, will be interested in a report just issued by the U. S. Geological Survey, which says in part: "Additional investments have been suf&cient to continue the normal in- crease in quantity of natural gas pro- duced and its total value. Thus, in 1910, the quantity of gas usefully pro- duced in the United States was 509,- 155,909,000 cubic feet, valued in first hands at $70,756,158. In 1911 the quan- tity was practically the same, 508,353,- 241,000 cubic feet, but its value in- creased to $74,127,534, a gain of per cent. "The increase in demand for natural gas from consumers of all kinds makes the supply of gas a matter of growing seriousness. Beyond question the nat- ural gas that can be furnished in many of the fields of the United States is simply a function of the capital in- vested in natural gas lines, and espe- cially in power plants for pumping the gas. Unfortunately, the safety of such large investments decreases in propor- tion as the increased demand becomes indicative of a failing supply. In Ohio and Indiana the yield has decreased so rapidly as to stop the investment of the further capital necessary to stimulate production. It is evident, in those states, that no reasonable amount of. The only way to stop leaks in pipe lines for good is to apply Emergency Pipe Clamps. The only way to do it quick is to have some clamps in stock, j^j^j^^j^j^^^ So we make this offer—We have a nice box containing: one of ea
