Coffins installation in the border
The Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) is built on an area of 35 thousand square meters designed by the architects Pedro Ramirez and Manuel Rosen Morrison Vazques to dignify the border, strengthening identity and promote tourism. CECUT opened in 1982 is home to the Orchestra of Baja California and the Hispanic-American Center for Guitar. It has an Imax cinema and The Cube, a space of 1500 square meters for exhibitions, designed by architect Eugenio Velazquez. The CECUT is popularly known as The Ball and is an icon of the city, serving the community, school children, artists, creators and audience. El Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT) esta construido en una superficie de 35 mil metros cuadrados diseñado por los arquitectos Pedro Ramirez Vazques y Manuel Rosen Morrison para dignificar la frontera, fortalecer la identidad y promover el turismo. CECUT se inauguró en 1982 es sede de la Orquesta de Baja California y del Centro Hispanoamericano de guitarra. Cuenta con un cine Imax y El Cubo, un espacio de 1500 mts cuadrados destinado a exposiciones, diseñado por el arquitecto Eugenio Velazques. El CECUT es conocido popularmente como La Bola y es un icono de la ciudad, atiende a la comunidad, población escolar, artistas, creadores y publico.
