In the Robins conveyor pure rubber is the onlymaterial which comes in contact with the substance this reason the conveyor is entirely unaffected by the sul-phurous acids which are present in all coal ashes, and which havea strongly corrosive effect on iron and steel. A revolving brusheffectively removes anything which may stick to the belt, andthus prevents dripping of ashes and water on the return run. ♦♦♦ A Self-Adjusting Car Fender This fender, which is made by the Edward L.
