At the end of a three day celebration of Robert Burns' poem "Tam O'Shanter" (Tamfest) there was a processsion through the streets of Ayr (home town of Burns) in the spirit of Dia de Los Muertos, the Day of the Dead celebrated in Mexico. Tam Fest is a local festival to celebrate the famous poem "Tam O'Shanter" by the Scots Bard Robert Burns. The poem is set in Alloway and Ayr and is at the time of Halloween. The festival is set up to mimic the famous festivals in Mexico "Dia de Los Muertos"
