The second daughter, also named Jane,married Thomas Thorneycroft, of Hadley Park, Salop, an iron-master in Wolverhampton, and has issue five sons:—GeorgeBenjamin, James Baird, Hamo Douglas, Alexander Whitelaw,and Wallace; and four daughters:—Jessie, Jeanie, Eleanor,and Florence.
