SPV Star Clipper Ship's Wheel and Bridge
The wheel of SPV Star Clipper. In the foreground are white railings with a polished teak rail. On the teak decking is a wooden mounting stand to assist the wheel man to see the instruments in the glass topped case behind the wheel. The compass is visible inside the case as well as the instrument that shows the position of the rudder. Behind the wheel stand is the bridge. Above the bridge is the main mast boom. In the background can be seen the ships rail, ratlines rigging and the sea. The orange item is probably an EPIRB or some other piece of safety equipment.
