This space containsthree great masses of building—the high pile of unbakedbrickwork called byRicht IMiijellibe, but which is knownto the Arabs as Babel; the building denominated the Kasr, or palace ; and a lofty mound upon which standsthe modern tomb of Amram-ibn-Ali.
