Jones, treasurer of the Tidewater Power Company,Wilmington, N. C, died at his home in that city on April30 after a short illness. Mr. Jones was one of Wilmingtonsoldest and most prominent citizens. Until three weeks be-fore his death he engaged actively in his duties in connec-tion with the railway and other local interests with which hehad been connected for a period covering nearly half a cen-tury.
