CARENTAN, France – At the request of the French government and civic leaders in the Normandy region of France, about 400 troops from units in Europe and the will participate in more than 40 ceremonial events May 31st to June 7th to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of D-Day, the largest multinational amphibious landing and operational military airdrop in history.
