Duisburg, Germany. 22 August 2017. At Landschaftspark Nord in Duisburg, fifteen sand sculptors have been in the process of building the tallest sand castle in the world since 8 August and it is beginning to take shape. In order to achieve the Guinness World Record for the tallest sand castle on 1 September, the castle needs to top 15 meters. 3500 tonnes of sand are being used.
