A fine pair of German flintlock pistols,circa 1780. Oriental Damascus barrels in 14 mm calibre,silver inlays as well as an pseudo-Arabian inscription in gold on top. Flintlocks with gilt lockplates made from brass(slightly rubbed),triggers and pans ornamentally chiselled. Carved stocks with silver engraving,the side plate and the pommel cap bear a hallmark "13 Lot" as well as the master's mark "PK". Wooden ramrods with horn tips.
