If such cancer occurs directlyat the pylorus, the blunt, abruptly cut-off termination of thestomach, with dilatation of the viscus, generally, or theantrum, locally, associated with failure of visualization ofthe duodenum, is a fairly characteristic picture. In thistype of neoplasm, peristalsis may be quite active. With the object of demonstrating the relative worth ofRoentgenographic evidence in gastric cancer, we have ar-ranged a series of Roentgenograms in association with otherclinical and surgical findings.
