Serrano’s main responsibility is supporting the local community members by ensuring vaccination procedures meet proper medical guidelines. Prior to his deployment, Serrano had dealt with COVID-19 while working at an intensive care unit. To his family back home, he said, “I love you, and miss you all.” Serrano is ready to provide a helping hand to the community of Detroit.
