SEA OF JAPAN (April 25, 2017) The Kongou class guided-missile destroyer JS Choukai (DDG 176) of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) conducts a bilateral training exercise with the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62).
