On St. Botolph Street, which runs parallel to HuntingtonAvenue to the south, is the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, onthe corner of Garrison Street. HORTICULTURAL HALL business in the Common-wealth. At No. 218 HuntingtonAvenue is the clubhouseof the Elysium Club. Thisclub includes in its mem-bership most of Bostonsprominent Hebrews. To the right of Hun-tington Avenue, just be-fore one reaches Massachusetts Avenue, is to be seen the hugeChristian Science Church, which is to be dedicated June 10. Thisbuilding, which is joined to the so-called Mother Church, hasmore the proportions of an Old World cathedral than of achurch. It is said that its cost, together with that of a large plotof land, will be upwards of two million dollars. It will have a seat-ing capacity of five thousand. Its dome, surmounted by a cupola,is two hundred and twenty-four feet high,—a landmark whichcan be seen at a very considerable distance. Near the intersection of Huntington and Massachusettsavenues are several buildings which are of interest. ChickeringHall is a low, rather ornate building, use
