People marching through London at the End Child Poverty campaign, Trafalgar Square, London, UK. Sat 4th October 2008.


On Saturday 4th October 2008 over 10,000 people marched through central London to Trafalgar Square to call on the government to keep its promise to alleviate child poverty by the year 2020. The march ended with a mass rally in Trafalgar Square with speeches and performances on the giant stage. Around 4 million children in the UK live below the poverty line.
