A ballet performance of The Snow Queen (Snedronningen) was held at the Tivoli Concert Hall,(Koncertsalen) in Tivoli Gardens during the Julemarked, (Christmas market) period in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Snow Queen is a fairy tale by Denmark’s famous children’s author, Hans Christian Andersen. It was first published in 1844. Queen Margrethe of Denmark designed the ballet’s costumes and scenography.
