Capt. Trevor Christman, the executive officer of Marine Wing Support Detachment 24, and Gunnery Sgt. Miriam Jenkins, the senior enlisted advisor of MWSD-24, receive a certificate of appreciation on April 7, 2017 for their unit’s participation in the Adopt a School Program at Aikahi Elementary School. The ceremony also celebrated Yellow Ribbon Day, which is part of April's “Month of the Military Child,” which acknowledges and honors the sacrifices made by children with parents in the armed services.
