EOD’s mission is to protect personnel, resources, and the environment from hazardous explosive ordnance, improvised explosive devices and weapons of mass destruction, which may include; incendiary, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards. They specialize in tools, techniques and personal protective equipment to detect or identify, monitor, evaluate, interrogate, mitigate, render safe, recover, and disposal operations on ordnance or devices delivered, placed, or made dangerous by any circumstances.
