The roof of the standard stock car is of two plythickness, and the upper portion of the hay racks and theends of the car are boarded solidly to keep out all rain orsnow. The trucks are fitted with graduated springs. The un-derframing, body, trucks and equipment follow the Pennsyl-vania railroads specifications for 100,000 lbs. capacity carswith little variation.
