The Canisius room in the birthplace of Petrus Canisius on the corner with the Beynum gas (no. 36). According to Nijmegen tradition, Peter Canisius was born in this room. Which is not correct because the house was built by Oscar Leeuw in 1904. The fireplace dates from around 1700.
