Hurricane Katrina aftermath. Beach sign prohibiting swimming due to the presence of storm debris (not seen) in the sea. The debris is one of the consequences of Hurricane Katrina, which struck America's Gulf of Mexico coast as a category four hurricane on 29th August 2005. It claimed more than 1000 lives and became the costliest natural disaster in US history. Photographed in Gulfport, Mississippi, USA, on 30th July 2006.
