The advantage is that the oblique incisions form the alee,which are less thick, the nostrils are not so narrow, and the septum (columna) is betterformed. The French Method (The Method of Celsus) Sliding flaps from adjacent tissue should not be used alone in totalnose reconstruction. I have found the method very valuable however
