EPIDERMAL NAEVUS
The term epidermal naevus refer to a coloured skin spot that is usually harmless but may become cancerous (naevus) in the outer layers of the skin (epidermis). In this case the lesion is on the scalp. Any change in color, size, or texture or any bleeding or itching of a nevus should be checked.
