The three-bulb ventriltube, shown in this illustration, is a valuable addition to the equip-ment, as it chokes back the inverse current, prevents false rays inthe tube, and greatly lengthens the life of the tube. The large number of x-ray coils on the market is very confusingto the inexperienced buyer. Every maker claims that his is thebest, and by the time the buyer has examined the various stylesof coils he is so thoroughly confused that he is ready to give up indespair.
