Westminster Abbey, London, UK. 2nd November, 2015. Volunteers begin the task of planting thousands of wooden crosses outside Westminster Abbey in central London. Each November the Royal British Legion establishes a Field of Remembrance in the grounds of Westminster Abbey with each cross bearing a scarlet poppy - a symbol of remembrance and a tribute to the memory of ex-Service men and women.
