180203-N-RG360-0220 SAN DIEGO (Feb. 3, 2018) Boatswains Mate 2nd Class Jamila Smith, assigned to littoral combat ship USS Omaha (LCS 12), raises the flag of the Secretary of the Navy during the ship's commissioning ceremony at Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego. Omaha is the 11th littoral combat ship to enter the fleet and the sixth of the Independence variant.
