Fruiting bodies of dung bird's nest fungus (Cyathus stercoreus). Photographed in Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire, but this specimen was cultivated on Oat Agar and a mixture of sterilized manure and chopped straw. It is a rare species only found at one or two sites in the UK, on sand dunes and associated with marram grass and rabbit droppings. October.
