Bornean rhinoceros walking in mud inside an enclosure. The Bornean rhinoceros is one of three subspecies of the Sumatran rhinoceros, but it is noticeably smaller than the other two. It has a height ranging from 1 to meters and a body length ranging from 2 to 3 meters. The species is classified as critically endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species.
