As soon asthe action began, a shell from theenemy landed in a clearing in frontof the camp, and the men at once gotinto line. General Keyes came ridingup the Nine Mile Road, passing theTwenty-thirds camp. Seeing themen in line, he ordered it to the sup-port of Caseys right. Moving acrossthe Nine Mile Road and throughsome low bushes they came upon theenemy who were driving in Nagleysbrigade of Caseys division. Withcheers the.
