Panorama of the ZR3; The ZR-3 was produced at the Zeppelin works in Friedrichshafen, Germany as war-debt compensation to the United States. Built for commercial use, the 2,470,000 cubic foot ship was built to carry 20 passengers. She was flown to NAS Lakehurst, NJ in October 1924, at the conclusion of an 83 hour, 5,000 mile transatlantic flight.
