Russia. Saint Petersburg. Alexander column in the Palace Square. It was designed by Auguste de Montferrand (1786-1858) and Antonio Adamini (1792-1846). Built between 1830-1834. The column commemorates the Russian Victory against the French invasion, leaded by Napoleon I.
