Roman amphitheatre, Dougga, Tunisia. Ruins of the Roman amphitheatre in the Romano-Berber city of Dougga in northern Tunisia. This amphitheatre dates from the 2nd century, and could seat 3500 spectators. Dougga was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Photographed in 2007.
