Parked bicycles conjure up classic images that represent Ireland. These bikes are temporary stores on the side of a shop in Galway, County Galway, Ireland. The shop claims the honor of being the home of the original Gladdagh ring, a noted traditional Irish ring. The ring is actually named for a small fishing village that was outside of the walls of old Galway but the location is now part of Galway City. Many of the shops in Galway, especially jewelry stores feature inventories of Claddagh rings that draw tourist interest. Galway is an upscale tourist destination in the west of Ireland situated on Galway Bay. Galway is the fourth largest metropolitan area in the Republic of Ireland.
