OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 30, 2017) Sailors visit caves and shrines during a visit to the World War II battle site “Hacksaw Ridge” as part of a cultural exchange. The exchange was intended to increase understanding and partnerships between Japanese and American service members through shared dialogue on World War II history and present day military service.
