Travis Clem, a Navy hydrographic officer embarked aboard the Dutch navy Africa Partnership Station platform HNLMS Johan de Witt (L 801), recovers a bottom-sampling device during a hydrographic survey of the Buchanan port. The device is used to gather samples of the seafloor to determine the sediment type of the harbor.
