The Sri Lankan toque macaque in the Udawatta Kele Sanctuary, Kandy, Sri Lanka obviously masturbating. The toque macaque (Macaca sinica) is a reddish-brown coloured Old World monkey endemic to both Sri Lanka, where it is locally known as the 'Rilewa' or 'Rilawa' (hence 'Rillow' in the Oxford English Dictionary). It is named for the toque shaped whorl of hair on its head, rather like the bonnet of the related Bonnet Macaque. Udawatta Kele Sanctuary, Kandy, Sri Lanka. An area with rainforest next to the city. Udawatta Kele Sanctuary, often spelled as Udawattakele, is a historic forest reserve on a hill-ridge in the city of Kandy. During the days of the Kandyan kingdom, Udawatta Kele was known as "Uda Wasala Watta" in Sinhalese meaning, "the garden situated above the royal palace". The sanctuary is famous for its extensive avifauna. The reserve also contains a great variety of plant species, especially lianas, shrubs and small trees. There are several giant lianas.
