Leaves ovate-oval, and with a long acuminate tip, serrately toothed, 3-nerved, pubescent with hairs beneath. Inflorescence subracemose. Flowers 5—7, showy, slightly scented. A vigorous-growing shrub, with ascend- ing branches gently bending at their extremities, and loaded with snow-white flowers of the largest size and scentless. Origin uncertain.
