The best frame to use is that with a plain top bar, as it is much stronger than the one with a saw cut, neither does it provide a harbour for the larva of the wax moth, as does the latter ; it is easier to fit the foundation in when the right way is known, also wlien it is necessary to to help their fellow craftsmen.
