In September, 1888, the corner stone for our new stone churchwas laid with services conducted by Rev. Geo. S. Converse. This new churchwas the generous gift of Mr. Jos. S. Fay. Onthe completion of the new stone church it was made a free church, and allthe real estate of the corporation deeded to the Trustees of Donations (reserv-ing the control of the burial lots)..
