While at Tuftscollege, Dr. Gil-man was editorfrom the medi-cal school of theBrown and Blue, Tufts junior classannual, a member of Gamma ChapterAlpha Kappa Kappa, a Greek lettermedical college fraternity. He is alsomember of the Winnipesaukee Academyof Medicine, the New Hampshire Medi-cal society, and of Pembroke of Dr. Charles S. Oilman Edwin D. Ward. One of the most active and promi-nent citizens of the Lakeport end of Laconia is Edwin D. Ward, who at thepresent time carries on a successfulundertaking business, and also carriesa complete assortment of mouldings andfixtures. For the past twenty-sevenyears he has been a photographer, apart of that time in partnership withGeorge 1!. Munsey, but he now leasesthe photograph studio, though still de-voting some time to that branch ofbusiness. As a photographer, Mr. Wardsrooms have always had a good reputa-tion, and there is hardly a photographerin N e w II a m pshire w h o hasmade a s m a n ypictures as M r .Ward.
