Ceriantharia tube-dwelling anemone. Tube-dwelling anemones have a long cylindrical body, most of which is anchored in a sandy or muddy substrate. In case of risk or danger it can retract its entire body into the tube. A small portion of the tube sticks out, from which tentacles fan out to collect food. Tube anemones resemble sea anemones, but are different subclasses of anthozoans. Photographed in the Mediterranean Sea.
