GPIB IEEE 488 cable

GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus) is commonly used for digital communication among several (up to 15) different units of electronic equipment. Often a personal computer added to the bus is used to control the rest of the units on the bus, to collect and analyze data, etc. This parallel electrical bus was originally developed by Hewlett-Packard and was known as HPIB for many years. It become very popular and was standardized as IEEE-488. Shown here is a GPIB cable terminated with the stackable connector.
