The small scales on top of the head extend forward to opposite the front of the eyes. The ground color is solid greenish to under the middle of the second dorsal, behind which the color of the back and side is irregularly broken with short wavy lines. The under parts of the body are pure white. On the front of the body are some traces of irregular dusky bands extern line down and back. The first dorsal has a large dusky spot in front, and the anal fin is a bright slate-blue. The cheek and region below the eye arc covered with small round golden or yellowish-brown spots.
