OCEAN (Aug. 27, 2016) Honor guard members bow their heads in prayer honoring the life of Aviation Electronics Technician 1st Class John P. Lamson as part of a burial-at-sea ceremony aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). Lamson served in the Navy from 1976-1989. George Washington, homeported in Norfolk, is underway conducting carrier qualifications in the Atlantic Ocean.
