Proboscis absent; palpi minute, hairy, downturned ; antennse bipectinate in male, serrate in female; legs fringed with hair; mid and hind tibiae with minute terminal pairs of spurs ; abdomen with two small dorsal tufts at base. Fore wing long and narrow, the costa arched towards apex which is somewhat produced and acute; veins 3, 4, 5 well separated at origin ; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 stalked. Hind wing with vein 3 from near angle of cell; 5from well above angle or middle of discocellulars; 7 absent. Sect. I.
