Greece, The head of Zeus in the Athens Museum. Zeus is the king of Gods and ruler of Mt. Olympus. The son of Cronus and Rhea and married to Hera by whom he is father to Ares, Hebe and Hephaestus. He also had many other trysts, he was the father of Aphrodite by Dione. He is also said to be the father of Athena, Apollo and Artemis, Hermes,and Persephone (by Demeter), Dionysus, Heracles, Perseus, Helen, Minos and the Muses (by Mnemosyne). His Roman counterpartt was Jupiter.
